Paul Longgrear’s Americal Plaque

Vietnamese manufactured Americal plaque awarded to Paul Longgrear for the completion of his second tour. The veteran had served with the I Corp Mike Force during his first tour and was a survivor of the battle at Lang Vei where he is credited with killing three tanks. The plaque measures 8 X 9 ½ inches and has some damage to the black lacquer finish on the sides. The piece comes with a reprinted photograph of the veteran while assigned to Special Forces tour and a picture of the veteran when I purchased the piece.
