RT HUNTER PATCH (APCI-1171)

Wartime, Vietnamese machine embroidered, Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control North (CCN), Recon Team Hunter patch. The patch measures about 5 inches tall, has not been applied and is featured in the book US ARMY SPECIAL FORCES INSIGNIA OF THE VIETNAM WAR, THE MAC V SOG RECON TEAMS, page 174 bottom left patch. The piece also is pictured on the site specialforceshistory as artifact number APCI-1171 and will come with a letter of authenticity. It should be noted that during my twenty-five plus years of research I could not find any mention of Recon Team Hunter with veteran interviews or period CCN RECON COMPANY, Recon Team Rosters. It is possible that it could have been a team formed within the Command and Control North (CCN) Hatchet Forces that were used as a point element that were not documented or recorded.
