WWI BRITISH ROYAL FLYING CORP SWAGGER STICK / SHORT SWORD

World War I, British Royal Flying Corps (RFC) private purchased swagger stick / short sword that measures about 24 inches long in the leather covered sheath, with a 13 1/2 inch blade that is engraved on both sides and is maker etched. The blade does have some spotting that can be see in the pictures. I purchased the piece as part of a larger collection along with the picture and I am uncertain if it is in fact the veteran.
