Wartime, Czechoslovakian manufactured KAP-3 Automatic Ripcord Release Assembly. Some of the Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG) Combat High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) Teams utilized these instead of the US manufactured FF-1 and FF-2 devises.  The piece is not attributed, data plate was removed, but is a nice MAC V SOG HALO display item. The lock pin is missing and is only a bent piece of metal rod, easily made.  The devise is of the Vietnam War period and I have no idea if the piece even works.
