M-17 GAS MASK ATTRIBUTED (APFG-165)

Wartime US M-17 gas mask that is attributed to a multiple tour veteran. The piece has a rubber body that is flexible, and not dry or cracked, clear lenses, and all straps intact. The smaller M-17 gas mask was a smaller version of the standard issue unit and carried by some personnel that would be used when CS powder was utilized. The unit came from a veteran who served with Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control North (CCN) and Command and Control South (CCS) and will come with a Letter of Authenticity detailing his service in Vietnam.
