MAC V SOG BEER CAN

Wartime, Vietnamese stamped metal insignia that is identified in Smythe’s publication on South East Asia, Special Forces as a MAC V SOG Distinctive Insignia / beer can. The piece has a yellow shield shaped body with a lighting bolt through the center. In the upper right is a fortress representing MAC V with a solder standing in front of it. Along the left side are for individual insignia representing the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force. The insignia measures about 1 1/4 inches tall with two post on the reverse.
