Wartime, Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control South (CCS) Vulcan lighter that is featured in the Silvey’s book: KNIVES OF THE UNITED STATES MILITARY IN VIETNAM, on page 31. The lighter is in used condition, measures about 1  1/2 X 2 1/4 inches, the face has a Japanese Special Commando Unit (SCU) enameled insignia affixed to the face and the reverse is engraved: SOA (CCS), 5TH SPECIAL FORCES GRP (ABN), 1ST SPECIAL FORCES.
