Wartime, Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG) Headquarters end of tour plaque that measures about 12 inches tall with a brass presentation plaque that reads: MSG ALBERT H. DAVIS, MAY 1968 – MARCH 1971. (APAW-407)

The veteran served five tours in South East Asia. His first tour was in 1965 with 5th Special Forces Group (5th SFG (ABN)) assigned to A-331. He returned for a second tour in 1966 with 5th SFG (ABN) assigned to A-322 and later transferred to B-34. Albert’s third tour was in 1968 with Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), OPS-35, as the Non Commissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC). Davis’ fifth tour was in 1969 – 1971 with MAC V SOG, OPS-36 as the NCOIC.
