Wartime, private purchased knife that has been termed by collectors as a Marine Recon. The knife measures about 10 1/2 inches overall with a 6 inch blued blade. The piece was manufactured by Kifee, Japan but is unmarked. I believe this company also manufactured of the Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Iron Guard SOG Knife, the cross guard and pommel are identical. Just to be clear, this was a private purchased fighting knife and not SOG issue. The piece comes with the original black, thin leather scabbard. The knife and sheath are in super clean condition.
