5th Special Forces Group (ABN), II Corp Mike Force, Bamboo Mess Association 1969 Meal Card. A unique  piece of Special Forces history as SF veterans serving in Vietnam were paid per diem to live off the local market. The SF Camps formed non-profit Mess Associations that the individual would buy into on a monthly basis. The association provided three meals a day and the extra funds purchased end of tour awards that were given to the soldiers during their departure from the unit.  (PP-009)
