Wartime, Counter Insurgency Support Office (CISO) procured, 5000 series SOG knife that is attributed to a Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG) veteran. The knife is not marked 5000 on the ricasso (missed by quality control), was hand stamped on the side of the pommel cap,  shows honest wear with 70% of the bluing remaining and is described as a USER and has the proper black leather scabbard. The piece will come with a Letter of Authenticity detailing the veteran’s service, a reprinted picture of him during one of his two tours and a photograph of him holding the piece.
