TIGER STRIPE BOONIE IN SUTHERLAND’S BOOK (APHG-184)

Wartime, Counter Insurgency Support Office (CISO) procured, Tiger Stripe camouflage boonie hat that is featured in Ian Sutherland’s book, SPECIAL FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY, 1952 – 1982 on page 339. The boonie is about a size 7, shows nice honest wear with fading, small brass skull and cross bones on the right side, US Basic Airborne Wings applied to the face and a couple grenade pins in the foliage loops.
