RT KANSAS 3RD GENERATION PATCH (APCI-1172)

Wartime, Vietnamese hand embroidered, Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control North (CCN), Recon Team Kansas, 3rd generation pocket patch. The insignia measures about 5 1/2 inches tall and has not been applied. The history of the patch design with examples is featured in my book US ARMY SPECIAL FORCES INSIGNIA OF THE VIETNAM WAR, THE MAC V SOG RECON TEAMS. The piece is pictured on the  specialforceshistory site as artifact number APCI-1172 and will come with a letter of authenticity. The book is not included.
