RT MOCCASIN 1ST GENERATION PATCH (APCI-2061)

Wartime, Vietnamese hand embroidered, Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control North (CCN), Recon Team Moccasin (misspelled Moccazin), 1st generation pocket patch. The insignia measures about 4 inches in diameter and has not been applied. The patch design history with examples is featured in my book: US ARMY SPECIAL FORCES INSIGNIA OF THE VIETNAM WAR, THE MAC V SOG RECON TEAMS. This exact piece is featured in the book MAC V SOG: Team History of a Clandestine Army, Volume IX, page 381. The patch is also documented on the specialforceshistory site artifact number APCI-2061 and will come with a letter of authenticity. The book is not included.
