WWII US 509TH ATTRIBUTED UNIFORM TOP AND BERET BADGE

WWII, US uniform top and beret badge that is attributed to a Charles Doyle. The top has a US made Airborne Training Command patch on the left sleeve and the combat arm has a nice Italian made 509th Geronimo patch applied. The top also comes with an Italian made 509th beret badge from the same veteran. The pieces came from a late collector who was friendly with the veteran and had published a couple books that includes stories of Doyle during the war. The book shown will accompany the grouping.
